Job Summary The Cost Accountant will analyze manufacturing costs, prepare detailed cost reports, and ensure accurate cost allocation to support financial planning and operational decision-making. This role partners closely with operations and supply chain teams and plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and compliance within a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Calculate and review manufacturing rates and cost structures Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost analysis Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure accurate cost data Prepare monthly and quarterly cost reports for management review Support internal and external audits with cost-related documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2–4 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Compensations & Benefits Competitive base salary range of $95,000–$105,000 Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Qualified candidates should apply today or email your resume to aj@jasurdagroup.com for immediate consideration.
