Tinsmith (Grades 1 - 3)

Job Description

The pay range for this position ranges from $16.45/hr - $18.91/hr.

This is an entry level position to work in the Tinsmith Trade. Applicants may be assigned any T04 Trade tasks but will initially be assigned to assist in basic T04 trade functions including (but not limited to): fabrication and installation of items made from sheet metal, steel, stainless steel and aluminum, or assist a more experienced T04 in more complex fabrication and installation operations.

Required/Preferred Education/Training

Preferred - High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred - Technical or Vocational training in tinsmith or carpentry trade.

Required/Preferred Experience

Required - Must have experience working with sheet metal, hand tools, and power tools.
Required - Must be able to read blue prints.
Required - Must be able to read a tape measure, perform basic layout and perform simple math calculations.
Required - Must meet the requirements of the T04 physical task analysis.

This opportunity is located in Bath, Maine. Relocation is provided to all candidates outside of 100 miles who relocate to the area.
