Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and
experienced Field Service Engineer to join our West coast field
service team. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for
ensuring the successful execution of all field service activities,
including installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance in
the San Francisco bay area. The ideal candidate will possess
excellent technical and communication skills, and be committed to
providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and test systems at customer locations
according to specifications and procedures Perform scheduled
preventive maintenance on existing equipment and systems Diagnose
and troubleshoot equipment and system issues on-site Repair or
replace faulty components and parts as needed Quoting customers for
service visits Managing preventative maintenance agreements in the
region Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper
operation and maintenance of equipment Maintain accurate service
records and documentation Respond promptly to service calls and
customer requests Follow all safety protocols and procedures when
working on-site Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant
technical field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience in a field service environment. Prior experience
in the lab water industry is a plus Strong technical knowledge and
understanding of field service operations, including installations,
repairs, and maintenance. Experience with Google Workspace is a
plus Excellent organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with
team members, clients, and vendors. Strong customer service
orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment. Proficient in using computer software and
systems related to field service operations. Valid driver's license
and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
