support our rapid growth, we seek an experienced healthcare
consultant to join Chartis as an Associate Partners in our
High-Reliability Care Solutions (HRC) practice, aligned to our
Clinical Transformation line of business. Associate Partners are
integral members of our firm’s leadership team, contributing to
firm-building efforts while managing 1-2 consulting engagements at
a time. Engagements vary in duration and are supported by teams of
Consultants and Analysts. Within our HRC practice, we have several
offerings all focused on improving quality, safety, and
reliability. One long-standing offering is in clinical
compliance/regulatory affairs and Chartis has been a trusted
partner for many years to help clients meet regulatory challenges.
We are looking for a consultant with deep expertise in clinical
compliance, regulatory, quality, and patient safety.
Responsibilities Lead the problem-solving process and day-to-day
management of engagement teams, including overseeing teams’
analysis and deliverables, often coordinating with subcontractors
as well as consulting team members. Lead regulatory projects, apply
thought leadership to client engagements, generating actionable
insights that drive meaningful improvement for the firm’s clients,
developing frameworks and approaches with broad potential impact.
Build and maintain client relationships drawing upon healthcare
knowledge and insights to address issues within and beyond the
scope of specific consulting engagements. Create sophisticated,
compelling communications that motivate clients to action. Act as a
coach and mentor to junior staff, rapidly developing their skills
and knowledge through an apprenticeship-based development model.
Help build the firm’s portfolio of business through support of
client proposals, participation in industry events, and other
marketing activities. Contribute to firm initiatives focused on
talent (e.g., recruiting, training), knowledge (e.g., IP
development, white papers), and other core areas. Qualifications
and Desired Skills Bachelor's degree required, master's degree in
healthcare or another field (e.g., MBA) preferred. At least 8 years
working with healthcare providers on strategic or operational
initiatives in quality, nursing, infection control, or other
similar initiatives. At least 3 years managing others in a
professional service environment. Strong understanding of
regulatory, accreditation, and clinical compliance, including the
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The Joint
Commission, and similar regulatory agencies (e.g., DNV). Advanced
clinical training, certification, or additional degrees preferred
(NP, CIC, Lean, CPHQ, HAP-CMS, etc.) Prior healthcare management
consulting experience preferred. Excellent critical thinking and
analytical skills. Superior communicator able to convey insights in
a way that motivates clients to action, both verbally and in
presentations and proposals. Strong people leader, adept at
managing team’s work while developing colleagues’ capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines and while
managing multiple priorities. Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access,
and PowerPoint. Ability to travel up to 50% Passion for materially
improving the delivery of healthcare in the world. Salary range: $
220,000 - $260,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary
bonus. The salary range for this role considers the wide range of
factors that are considered in making compensation decisions
including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training,
licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and
organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits
