as a part of our multidisciplinary, community based Program for
Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team. Ellenhorn uses the most

licensure).Range: Min $60,000 - Mid $70,000 - Max $80,000Position
Summary: The expressive arts therapist incorporates a multimodal
approach including writing, sculpture, film, drama, dance,
movement, painting and/or music into the individual treatment of
individuals with psychiatric experiences and mental illness. The
expressive arts therapist serves both as a primary case manager for
a small caseload (3-4 individuals) and provides 1:1 and group
expressive therapy sessions to clients mostly in a community based
setting. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide service
coordination (case management) for an assigned group of clients
including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the
individual treatment team (ITT).Assume primary responsibility for
developing, writing, implementing, evaluating and revising overall
treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the client and the
ITTProvide individual supportive expressive arts therapy and
symptom management, ensuring immediate changes are made in the
treatment plan as clients' needs changeEducate and support clients'
families and advocate for clients' rights and preferencesConduct
holistic and comprehensive assessment along with other team
membersAct as liaison and consult with community agencies and
families to maintain coordination in the treatment processProvide
education and opportunity to other team members to engage in and
learn about expressive therapies work (in-service training, staff
wellness days, etc)With other team members, participate in on-call
rotation for crisis intervention/support 7days/wk,
24hrs/day.Document client progress to maintain a permanent record
of client activity according to established methods and
procedures.Nonessential Functions:Occasional interstate travelOther

Qualifications Required:Master's degree in relevant field required
Post secondary school education and training, including internships
and other supervised practical experiences in a clinical or
rehabilitation setting with persons with severe and persistent
mental illnessMust be licensed or certified to work in the field,
abide by a code of ethical and practice standards and be committed
to a process of lifetime knowledge and skills development. (LCSW,
LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, MT-BC, ATR-BC recommended) Must have skills and
competencies to establish supportive trusting relationships with
persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as
family and other members or the clients' networkMust have valid
driver's license, dependable automobile and a clean drivers
