LanceSoft is seeking a travel Histology Technologist for a travel job in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Histology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Required Certification HT (ASCP) – Required Position Responsibilities Prepare, process, embed, cut, coverslip, stain, and mount tissue specimens for pathologist evaluation Perform special stains and IHC on tissue and quality control slides Accession pathology and cytology specimens in the computer system Communicate specimen issues with providers Prepare GYN and Non-GYN cytology specimens and order molecular studies Perform frozen sections Conduct routine equipment maintenance and maintain documentation Maintain inventory and communicate supply needs Dispose of specimens and hazardous chemicals per policy Pick up specimens from hospital departments as required Train new employees and interns Attend lab meetings, in-services, and educational seminars About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
