Emergency Department Supervisor for a travel nursing job in
Windsor, Vermont. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED -

Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel 466987 House Supervisor / ED RN (TRAVEL)
THIS IS NOT A STRAIGHT ED ROLE ED-only travelers will NOT be
considered. Supervisory experience is REQUIRED. Unit Snapshot - ED
Beds: 10 - 24-hr Census: 8–15 patients (12–15 = busy) - Population:
All ages - Support: ED works with PAs - Facility Type: Critical
Access Hospital - EMR: Cerner (required) Schedule & Contract
Details - Hours: 36 hrs/week (48 hrs not available) - Weekends:
Every other - Holidays: As needed No block scheduling or schedule
accommodations allowed Traveler may NOT work another perm or travel
role concurrently Role Expectations - House Supervisor coverage
with ED responsibility - Rapid prioritization and real-time
operational decision-making - Manage unplanned, high-stress, and
occasionally combative situations - Coordinate patient flow and
staffing in a critical access setting - Strong communication,
leadership, and critical-thinking skills required NON-NEGOTIABLE
REQUIREMENTS - 5 years recent INPATIENT RN experience - CURRENT
(within 6 months) House Supervisor experience ? Must be clearly
noted on profile - Critical Access Hospital experience – REQUIRED -
Cerner EMR experience – REQUIRED - Supervisory skills checklist
(within 1 year) – REQUIRED - ED skills checklist (within 1 year) –
REQUIRED - Active RN license: Vermont or Compact - Certifications
(ALL REQUIRED): - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - TNCC
Preferred: Prior travel experience, BSN or higher RTO & Attendance
Policy - Max RTO: 5 days (less is better) - RTO must be submitted
up front — no changes after upload - 3-Strike Call-Off Rule
(strictly enforced): - Contract eligible for termination after 3
call-offs - Call-offs must be reported ?1.5 hours before shift
Important Notes - NO locals within 50 miles - Reliable personal
vehicle required (no public transportation) - Small rural community
