Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with recent Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience and a valid NH or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in a large hospital operating room with 26 high-tech suites - Both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures are performed - Patient population includes neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics - Procedures cover ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery - Schedules available: 3x12 hour or 4x10 hour shifts - Requires 4-5 off-shift or on-call shifts per 13-week contract, which may be 12-hour shifts or on-call, days or nights - Role involves providing perioperative care to a diverse patient population across multiple surgical specialties - On-call responsibilities may include both days and nights - Candidates must ensure all licensure and certification requirements are met for the entire duration of the assignment /n /n Requirements/n - Active NH or compact RN license required throughout the assignment - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma operating room experience within the last 2 years - No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 75 miles from the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-657002.
