Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 36-hour rotating day/night Labor & Delivery position requiring a MA license and AHA BLS certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit - Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts based on unit needs - Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required - Patient population includes laboring mothers and neonates - Uses Epic EMR system - Responsibilities include managing laboring patients, assisting with deliveries, and providing maternal and neonatal care - Must work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team - Assignment length is 13 weeks - RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed prior to assignment - Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from central Boston; locals receive a reduced rate - Parking may require use of public lots with daily costs - Scrubs required per unit policy /n /n Requirements/n - Active, unrestricted MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted - Current AHA BLS certification required - Current NRP and AWHONN EFM certifications required (AHA preferred) - Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required - Experience with Epic charting preferred - Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-651371.
