Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Rehabilitation - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/03/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation - Med/Surg (Nights) Windsor, VT Local Travelers - Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need. Description Rehab Med-Surg (Rehabilitation Medical-Surgical) combines medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation, focusing on patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury to restore function and independence through therapies (physical, occupational, speech) and specialized medical/nursing care, often in an inpatient setting, aiming to improve quality of life by treating the whole person - May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse - Coordinates total nursing care for patients - Participates in patient and family teaching - Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting EMR: Cerner Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5 Average daily patient census: 22 Requirements NOTE, THIS IS A MED SURG POSITION! BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED - 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience - [Required] - May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg - MUST be willing to float to other units as needed (within scope of practice) [Required] - CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE [REQUIRED] - Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - [Required] - BSN-Bachelor of Science in Nursing [Strongly Preferred] - This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
