Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Salem, MA. Job Function: /n - Day Shift or Night Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance /n - Analyze EKG results, identify abnormalities, and document findings accurately /n - Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures /n - Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other life?threatening conditions /n - Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians /n - Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow?up care prior to discharge /n - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Must be able to read telemetry strips /n /n - Must be able to perform cardiac drips /n /n - 2 years strong cardiac experience required /n /n - Active Massachusetts RN License required /n /n - AHA BLS required /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
