Behavioral Healthcare Professions sought: Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) LCSW Details Part Time Schedules Primarily Monday through Friday schedule 6 hour shifts available Contract Position LCSW Duties Operates at the direction of an assigned licensed staff member, typically a staff psychologist Providing professional rehabilitative mental health services to offenders who are identified as having mental, social, physical, emotional, and/or cognitive impairments Documentation in the healthcare record, facilitation of psycho-educational groups, creating group activities, and offering feedback/clinical impressions as part of a treatment team Facilitation of curriculum-based and leisure activity groups and provision of individual support to offenders Monitoring, maintaining, and inventorying supplies used for programming Monitoring offenders as they work on treatment goals in the residential milieu and serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team Monitor the adjustment of offenders and implement specific techniques aimed at stress management, social skill development, adapting to the demands of the prison environment, and planning for return to the community Employee’s supportive counseling role includes the use of crisis intervention techniques and referral to clinical staff for follow-up as necessary LCSW Qualifications Graduation from an accredited educational institution Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the State in which the position is located.
