HCA Healthcare. Job Summary and Qualifications The Radiologic
Technologist (RT) performs basic radiographic procedures including
fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR
imaging services and routine procedures. The RT is knowledgeable in
detecting adverse symptomology relating to procedures or contrast
related problems. Essential Functions: · Uses equipment in safe and
effective manner; reporting repairs to appropriate person. ·
Participates in departmental/organization Performance Improvement
activities as requested. · Insure timely and accurate communication
of patient information with health care team members as may be
required for prompt and efficient patient care. · Completes all
necessary written documentation (patient education, requisition
information including tech initials in a “flash” area, patient
history), contrast and/or pregnancy forms if applicable. ·
Completes all necessary computer documentation in a timely manner
without reminders. · Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and
identifies anatomical orientation on all images. · Correctly
identifies films. · Master film jacket, film sleeve (if
applicable), report folder, comparison films, interim report (if
applicable), new films and patient requisition are neatly compiled
and placed in Radiologist’s office for interpretation. · Obtains
high quality films (good patient positioning and proper image
technique). Demonstrates technical expertise to operate Imaging
equipment. · Assists the radiologist in administering medications,
contrast agents and all types of care to the patient. · Assumes
emergency call if needed. · Other duties as assigned. What
qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited school of
radiologic technology preferred ARRT (R) Active New Hampshire State
Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy license American Heart
Association BLS One to three years experience as a radiologic
