Both the Food Services and Dietary teams collaborate to ensure all dietary restrictions are maintained and to keep our patient-centered values across all areas of the medical center.About the Job:Works in the kitchen in the preparation and production of food products for the caf--, catering, and patient nutrition areas. - Various food items are prepared in response to the needs of patients, the caf--, and specific functions, while meeting all standards of quality, consistency, and safe food production.What You'll Do:

• Prepares and cooks foods to order or in batches with limited supervision or instruction.
• Follows recipes and/or product directions for a variety of food item
• Taste's products, reads menus, estimates food requirements, checks production, and keeps records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Complies with all department HACCP policies and procedures including recording of temperatures, proper food handling and storage, labelling and datingWho You Are:
  • 3-4 years of experience in related food service cooking production required
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required. Some Culinary education preferred.
