Job Description:
We have an incredible team at Klaviyo - collaborative, capable,
diverse, fun - and we won't settle for less. We're looking for a
passionate People Technology Lead to join our team in our Boston,
Denver, or San Francisco office. This position is a phenomenal
opportunity to collaborate with a group of innovative and
passionate people technology experts and business partners across
G&A teams. This role will play a key role in partnering with
People Tech team members and key stakeholders to enhance our
current technology stack while helping to implement new technology
platforms, Workday modules, processes and integrate new systems
with the Workday platform. Your focus will be on significant
strategic projects and providing architectural guidance across
technology programs.How You Will Make a Difference:
- Lead complex strategic technology initiatives through end to
end SDLC including leading design sessions, creating technical
requirements documents, architecting end to end solutions, and
configuring within Workday, Greenhouse, and other technology
systems.
- Understand stakeholder needs to proactively identify solutions
while providing thoughtful advice that balances business needs with
the development of innovative and scalable technology solutions.
You dig deeper to understand the desired outcome instead of simply
taking requests at face value.
- Identify and resolve process gaps and dependencies to transform
the technology landscape, with a focus on user experience, data
connections, and data integrity.
- Manage the intake, scope, and execution of technology
improvements and modifications
- Demonstrate excellent time management and project management
skills by effectively managing technical requirements gathering,
documentation, testing strategies, and technology transition plans,
while guiding stakeholders through established standards.
- Continually seek opportunities to stay informed on emerging
technology trends, particularly in AI, and broader industry changes
to offer recommendations & insightful guidance.Who You Are:
- 8+ years experience in the people technology/ HR system space
with expertise in multiple Workday functional modules (including
but not limited to: HCM, Compensation, International Expansion,
Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Security, or
Reporting)
- Experience creating scalable, innovative, global, hypergrowth
technology solutions for a publicly traded company.
- Motivated and interested in quickly learning and adapting to
new processes and technologies
- Self-Starter. Willing to take on the tough projects and
challenges to grow and develop.
- Intellectually curious. You have strong analytical skills,
proven experience understanding and effectively working across
multiple stakeholders.
- Ambitious, creative, radical collaborator, and active listener.
You enjoy building things and continually strive to do things
better than the status quo.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding
organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work out of our Boston, Denver, or San Francisco
